Project plan view

This small yard is dominated by utility boxes, which the client would like to be camouflaged. Strategically placed shrubs and perennials have been sited to provide screening for the utility boxes. A pathway behind the utilities provides space to access them. A plant palette based on grasses and evergreen plants, with a focus on foliage texture and color, creates a modern look without needing much irrigation. The client loves hydrangeas, and a variety has been recommended which will tolerate full sun exposure as long as the plants are irrigated.
