The existing raised beds and dwarf evergreens in this garden provide a beautiful structure, reminiscent of islands in a stream. The client added the water feature. Additional goals and requirements for the design include privacy screening, a covered seating space, and additional surface-level plantings throughout the design. The hedge of tall, narrow shrubs and trees along the west side of the property provides privacy while needing little to no pruning.
