A large lot in a newly constructed development inspired the client to create his dream yard. Placement of the pool, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, and trampoline, are meant to utilize the space efficiently and allow for easy movement around structures and between the different areas. A hedge of mixed trees, shrubs, and perennials creates a privacy screen that provides year-round visual interest. Some lawn grass remains in the front yard to satisfy HOA requirements, and in the back yard as a durable play surface. The remaining lawn areas are planted with foot-traffic-tolerant groundcovers to reduce maintenance and irrigation needs.
